Martin & Gina Goethche
(owners and directors)
Born in Denmark, Martin began ballroom dance instruction at the age of three. He danced in amateur competitions before he was ten years old, and was a finalist in all the major Danish Dance Sport Championships in the children, junior and youth classes.
Gina comes from Munich, Germany and started to dance at the age of fifteen. She competed very successfully at the amateur level with several partners and was the German Champion in the Latinamerican dances (A-level).
In 1990, Martin and Gina began their partnership as competitive ballrooms dancers. Their titles include the Danish 10-Dance Champions and Austrian Latin and 10-Dance Champions. Martin and Gina were also finalists in the World and European 10-Dance Championships and in the World Latin Showcase Championships.

Juliet Tibodeaux
(studio manager / dance instructor)
Originally from Schwalmstadt Germany, Juliet began dancing Ballet at the age of 5, followed by Jazz and Hip hop.
She began Ballroom Dance Training at the age of 13 and soon discovered her love for teaching.
Wanting to broaden her dance education, Juliet decided to join the Fred Astaire Team in 2004 and has been with us ever since.
Since then she has competed successfully in both smooth and rhythm at regional and national events.

Peter Hahn
(dance instructor / choreographer)
Peter joined us from Stuttgart, Germany in 2007. Peter has been dancing since he was 6 and specialized in Standard at the age of 15.
Among numerous titles he placed 4th in the highest amateur division at the German Championships and won one of the most prestigious
dance competitions in Germany- the blue banner of Berlin. He taught for several years in Germany and decided to share his joy of
movement with the Fred Astaire Family.
Since then he has competed successfully in both smooth and rhythm at regional and national events.

Dimitri Nikolaev
(dance instructor)
Originally from Minsk, Belarus, Dmitry began dancing at the age of 9.
A very successful dancer at a young age already, he travelled and danced all over the world, even participating in a Chinese circus.
When Dmitry turned 14, he decided to make dancing his life and pursue his skill determinedly.
Placing 7th in the world as a youth, 5th in the Europe Cup with the adults and even placing in the Youth Europe Olympics are only a few of the great things he has achieved. In 2010 he was ranked in the top 24 Latin couples of the world.
Wanting to share his passion of dancing with as many people as possible he decided to join the Fred Astaire Family. His enthusiasm and amazing skill as a dancer are noticeable right away.

Morten Schnedler
ballroom dance instructor
Born in Aarhus, Denmark, Morten started dancing at age 5. By 2004, he was named Danish champion in the youth category. The following year, at age 20, he was named captain of the Danish National Team, representing their country at the Italian Open.
Morten continued to move up the dance rankings and was named a finalist at many major international dancesport events in the Standard division the last five years. Currently the professional champion of Denmark, Morten competes in the World and European championships.
